Fig & Pig Crostini

Updated: Nov 19, 2020

Although entertaining will surely look different this holiday season, this quick and easy appetizer will make any gathering a little bit brighter. Whether you're hosting your neighbors for a friendsgiving or planning a fancy date night with your partner, consider this recipe for your pre-dinner snack!

1 crusty baguette

creamy goat cheese

fig jam

  1. Slice the baguette into bite size pieces. If your bread is extra crusty, slice it very thin. If your only option is something soft like french bread, lightly brush with olive oil and toast in the oven at 350 for a few minutes.

  2. Spread each crostini with creamy goat cheese.

  3. Add a dab of your favorite fig jam on top of the goat cheese.

  4. Loosely pile 1/2 piece of prosciutto on top of each crostini.

These crostini make the perfect, protein-packed snack for guests who are hanging out before thanksgiving dinner is ready. You don't want anyone getting hangry while your busy in the kitchen!
