Today is special to me for two reasons - first it's my birthday, yay! And second, I have officially launched my Peace Out 2020 Collection in my shop! I have three original designs that commemorate some of my favorite parts of this year that you can download to use in your own projects!
Right now I am only selling digital files through my online shop but if you do not have your own cutting machine and really want one of these super cute tees, reach out to me via email (email@example.com) or DM me on IG @carlyhill to place an order!
I got my Cricut Maker as an early birthday present from my parents a couple weeks ago and I have been SO BUSY making anything and everything I can possible think of.
In order to celebrate both my birthday and the launch of my first design collection I have decided to share some of the custom projects I have come up with you all every day this week. Make sure you are checking in daily for these free downloads and follow me on IG to see how you can participate in my GIVEAWAY and win a free shirt with your favorite design from the Peace Out 2020 Collection!
For this project I used a combination of metallic card stock, felt scraps, and holographic iron-on vinyl. It truly came together super quickly with a bit of hot glue and it could make the perfect birthday card, table decoration, or a sweet piece of happy mail you can send to someone who you aren't able to celebrate with this year.
Upload these files to Cricut Design Space or use my project link to get started. You can easily add your own custom number candles by adding text in your desired font. For stability, I welded a copy of the numbers to the base layer and welded a copy of the flames to the number candles so that I'd have something to glue each layer onto.
I hope you enjoy making this project and customizing it to your own needs! If you love the shirt I'm wearing in the photos above you can purchase the design here!
